Puerto Ayora – In puerto ayora our favourite eating joint was La Parrilla Pirata located in the food street of puerto ayora. It is quite an popular one and hard to miss. It was at a 2 mins walk from our hotel ( captain max B and B). I was bowled over by their grilled chicken platter which comes with rice, french fries and a dipping sauce. Honestly this was the best grilled chicken ever. Actually it was more like a kebab with the right amount of spices and lemon accompanied by an equally mouthwatering dip. There were also a wide range of other sea food platters available. The lobsters looked great, though we didn’t try them. We tried a few other restaurants on the same road which were also pretty good. Most of the platters come with rice, fries and salad. Breaded chicken and breaded shrimps platters are also delectable options. The ambience is very touristy as the entire street is lined with tables after 6:00 p.m.

Isabela– Here our favourite was El Velero. This restaurant was one of a kind offering lunch at $ 7 which included a juice, soup, a chicken or prawn platter complete with rice, salad and fries and dessert. The food was excellent. We tried their freshly baked pizzas and calzones for dinner which were also superb. Actually we loved it so much that we didn’t explore any other restaurant in Isabela. It had earned our loyalty from the first meal.
Forgot to click pictures of the soup and dessert which were too good.
